The social program in Barcelona this week:
- Tuesday 22nd | Our trip this afternoon takes us to the Manzana de la Discordia, the block on Passeig de Gracia with three of the best examples of Modernista architecture (16.00).
- Wednesday 23rd | We're going to Barcelona's most-visited art gallery this afternoon, the CaixaForum, which currently has a great Charlie Chaplin exhibition on. The converted old factory building is another great example of Modernista architecture (16.00).
- Thursday 24th | Come along to film afternoon today: we'll be watching Barrio, which was a huge hit in Spain when it came out (16.15).
- Friday 25th | It's a Rockabillie Friday Club this week, with music by people like Stray Cats, Jimmy & The Mustangs, The Paladins and Levi Dexter. There's a dance competition too, perhaps inspired by one of Spain's big television hits, Mira quien baila… In the bar/on the terrace, 19.00-21.00.
Join us in Reception ("C" floor), unless otherwise stated, at the times given above.
