Barcelona's medieval walls are still visible in various places, 5 minutes away from IH, in the Plaça Ramon Berenguer [map], for example.

The map of the Barrio Gótico here shows approximately the line of the medieval walls, which largely followed the line of the Roman walls, which have been much rebuilt at various times over the last 2,000 years, as you can see in the picture above.
