The Sagrada Familia in winter

The Sagrada Familia, yesterday | Photo: Tom Walton

Yesterday was one of those fine, blustery late-winter days, when it's cold but sunny in Barcelona and the city appears at its best. The wind has blown the pollution away and the air is clear and there's the promise of spring on its way.

If you live here, you probably only visit the Sagrada Familia when people come to visit — or else you pass by quite by chance, as I did yesterday.
