Now, which would you say is more fun…? | Photo: Tom Walton
You could, like all the other tourists, queue up for the tourist bus [routes], which is in fact quite a good way to take a whistle stop tour of the city, stopping off at its most famous landmarks. Actually, to really see Barcelona you probably have to walk everywhere but who wants to have to do that?!
But to see and enjoy the city, you want your own wheels, right? We took out a couple of GoCars the other day, and boy were they fun! Just a little bit intimidating in Barcelona's mid-afternoon traffic, at least at first, but once you got used to it, fun!
It's actually a bit like being in Spanish class. You could, as on the tourist bus, just sit there and be passive. But it's so much better to get up and go and be active — and you'll learn and discover an awful lot more.
